GXP1760 - Second inbound call

Hi all,

Unfortunately I dont have a GXP1760 to play with, but my customer is saying when he is on a call and a second call comes in it doesn't come ring on "button" two (which is a line key) it rings in the background more like call waiting...

Is this normal? If so is there setting that would change that so it ring on button two etc.?

Hi,

If this phone is provisioned as per the the latest 3CX fimrware and template on V16, then it will have two line keys.

If the extension also has "Accept multiple calls" enabled, then when the 2nd call arrives in the middle of an already active call, line key 2 will flash red.

However, if you are hearing a call waiting sound and the phone shows nothing on the display about any second call, then I'm wondering where that 2nd call is coming from (provider, or analog gateway?).

It does not sound like a 2nd SIP session, more like a 2nd analog line call waiting based on the above description.
