Good day,

i know that the Mobotix T25 is not an officially supported doorbell but I bought those way earlier and they are not that cheap and as they are inside the wall, also not that easy to replace.

Now the doorbell supports H.264 video and I know this works with a SIP phone that supports H.264 (Yealink T58 and also an old T49 to verify, it works fine with both).

However, if I tried an IOS or Android app, there just is no video. I do not even get the popup to participate in a video call. I can manually click the video icon but the video is in and endless loading spinner.

The call is setup to include video from the doorbell (as mentioned it works with some SIP phones).

Any ideas? Maybe I need to setup some specific quality settings or something else?

Interesting, we have a mobotix somewhere stuck in the wall as well. We can look at it in the new year.

Thanks. It is probably just some configuration thing - I hope - or a minor change in the app or similar.
But I just can't seem to find out what the necessary change would be and it would hugely improve using the doorbell.

@Nick Galea Were you able to try this and find out why it does not work? I just updated to v20 and updated the door bell to the newest firmware (which was released a few days ago) and it still does not work.

No we did not have time. Did you contact Mobotix for them to try and test please?

EDIT: We checked and not even chrome works with Mobotix so maybe you best contact them......

@Nick Galea On a Fanvil V65 it works fine. And the web interface also shows the video. I even was able to embed the video in Loxone. But I will try to contact them as well.
