HA Cluster Install Issues - No Available Interfaces

We are planning on deploying an HA Cluster onsite using two brand new I7 Desktops.
The built in network card will not detect so we had to use USB3 to Ethernet adapters.
The 3bc Installation worked fine on workstation 1 and 2. both will connect as 3cx system as SBC controllers.

To deploy as an HA cluster - we need the network interfaces must match. We ran some commands so both are now eth0.
Sbc still works fine on both - we can uninstall and reinstall without issue.

When we run the HA Cluster install - the "available interfaces" is blank and we cannot continue on either device. It is not seeing the "eth0" that is setup and working.

FYI if we do not change the default Ethernet device name - the HA Cluster does see the interface fine, but then they do not match and the cluster fails to operate.

maybe we are not renaming the interface properly - does anyone else have instructions on how they rename the interfaces to match? maybe that is our issue?

Update we will able to resolve ourselves by changing the name a differnet way in the /etc/network/interfaces file. We used the rename command instead using this webpage: https://rigacci.org/wiki/doku.php/doc/appunti/linux/sa/if_rename

Now we were able to install the 3cx HA Cluster and we can reboot them one at a time and the cluster appears to work and will transition - HOWEVER if we boot a few times - they peers no longer can ping each other and they both go active. - we have to reboot both of them again before they behave again - is anyone else experiencing this?
