hard phones templates

hello everyone and i hope you are all fine

we already have a callcenter and it is working fine, two SBCs are installed (windows and Linux), the -windows machine- is not doing the best.
i created another SBC on other pc, here is the question:
after removing the old SBC, i discovered that hard phones were using this one to get the firmware or template.

is it possible to add the templates to the new SBC ? or how can i make the new SBC present phones templates ?

Hi @montaser,

The easiest way would be to point the IP Phones to the correct SBC IP now then give them a reboot.



If you'd like the alternative is to factory reset them and reprovision them.

excuse me if i got this wrong
i don't need to do any thing except resetting phones back to factory settings ? i mean after keeping the new SBC up
nothing more ?

Hi @montaser,

After setting up the new SBC, factory reset the phones - then assign them to extensions once again. You should be good to go after this.

Just note, that when selecting the phones that are in the Phones section and you add them to an extension, double check the SBC IP to ensure the correct SBC will be used.
