We are a small business with around 6 remote locations. Our current provider recommends we only install a Windows based SBC on site. When it works it is fine, but as a windows PC should the power go off, no-one of my staff are aware the phone also dies (my staff are not desk based). My question for the community, is can you suggest an appliance or set-up that does not rely on a windows PC on site that does not always need someone to dive into a rack to re-boot the SBC. No disrespect to my staff, but some struggle to work out how to reboot the PC on site.

Recent versions can use a phone as an SBC, which 3CX calls a router phone. Max 10 phones per router phone.

List: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Otherwise, a Raspberry Pi is still supported for an SBC. Or a Debian VM if there is a server on site.
