Have 3CX running on Lightsail - upgrade 16 to 18 question

I was just curious, am I good to use the upgrade option from the web dashboard interface, or are there any issues I should be wary of? The fact it says it's updating the OS has be a bit concerned.

Hi!

You should be absolutely fine upgrading your V16 3CX installation on Lightsail to V18 from within the 3CX Management Console, as long of course as you initially deployed using either the 3CX Deployment Wizard (ex PBX Expess).

If you want to be 100% safe, first take a full backup of your installation and download it to your Desktop, then perform the upgrade.
In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, you could always scrap the Lightsail Instance and create a new one from the Customer Portal Deployment Wizard, restoring your backup from there, although as I said, it's usually fine.
