We have a lockdown that happens when a specific number is dialed (outbound route). The route it goes to an external system that triggers alarms, flashing lights, etc. Is there anyway that I can add that number to take a second route which would be 911. The lockdown gets triggered and then the call gets directed on to 911?

The problem with that is the 911 operator will need to speak to someone regarding the emergency.

When this happens who else knows what the emergency is besides the person that dialed the number, or is this a blanket emergency and all staff know? The manager or top staff member could call 911 and instruct the 911 operator what the emergency is. Calling 911 is not a good idea if no one is on the line.

Yeah, but they aren't dialing 911, they're dialing a specific number for some reason and want that extension to do stuff. Perhaps it's supposed to be a silent panic button of sorts and you wouldn't be able to talk safely. As long as 911 gets an address, they'll send someone.

But flip my idea and have the number call 911 and also dial the other stuff as mobile. Or go full CFD and have the cfd make the stuff, then transfer the call to 911.

Our 3CX Emergency Notifier tool monitors for any calls to emergency numbers. When it detects that someone has dialed an emergency number, it places phone calls, sends emails and SMS text messages, and pops a desktop application. If all that is needed is a phone call to an extension, we can do that.
