Having two seperate companies using one 3CX System

Hello, our primary business is setup and running perfectly. Our primary company buis # 1 services distributors, our second # 2 company caters to OEM / Manufactures. We have separate DID's for company # 2. What I would like to do, have inbound calls come in identified as calls for company # 2 ( I think i have this figured out ). Have these calls hear a separate on hold message or stock 3CX on hold music. For an outgoing calls from company # 2 I would like to be able to dial out pulsing the caller ID information as coming from company # 2. Can anyone help with this setup? We are using Flowroute for our SIP Trunking. Before switching to 3CX we used Free PBX which was setup to use a dial prefix when requiring an outbound call from company # 2. #2) incoming calls - can put group name or did name prepended. It sounds like you have this sorted.

Options for Outbound Caller ID #
-- Add manually a separate extension to each phone requiring the other business.
-- Add separate trunk with that number and only push the Trunk ID
-- Use the Flowroute trunk twice - once with a Registration base and once with an IP base. Using this method - only use the Trunk Caller ID for outbound calls. Setup outbound rules using 8 for 1 biz or 9 for 2nd biz
-- Theres an idea floating around in the forum that a different outbound rule could have a DID assigned. So, like Dial 8 for Biz1 outbound calls, Dial 9 for Biz2 Outbound calls

Do you use 2 separate trunks one for each company.?

Do you want to call and receive calls for the 2 companies on same phones with only one extension on each ?

I only have 1 company - but use the second Flowroute registration for 911 to send them the main registered DID.
