Hearing impaired employee

Hello,
I have a hearing imparied employee. Is there a way to set up an extension just for sms or something similar with a text phone.

Not sure I understand the question...do you want voice to not work? You can choose where to redirect incoming calls for the extension.

Our CFO wants it to go to a text to go to the phone and not a phone call. I dont think our trunk will support texting, so my next move would be to a text phone or something with adaptive capabilities.
