Hi.

I'm testing the "Automatic Contact Creation" function on CRM with 3CX.
I created the "CRM Template" through "3CX CRM Template Generator".
After applying the template to 3CX system, I made a "test call", but contact was not created automatically.

Test Condition was as below:
  • Test Caller number doesn't exist in current Contacts.
  • After applying the template to 3CX system, I restarted 3CX system before making the test call.

Configuration Reference : https://www.3cx.com/docs/server-side-crm-template-xml-description/#h.2wpwanlnouax
Section: Automatic Contact Creation

I checked "3cxSystemService.log". but found nothing.
Please see the attached log and template file for this issue.

Could you kindly confirm it?
Thanks in advance!

This template only has 1 scenario with ID "CreateContactRecord". There are no contact lookup scenarios. In this case every inbound call will invoke the CreateContactRecord scenario, because the lookup scenarios will not return any data (because they don't exist). Is this what you want?

Also, the scenario has a hardcoded header value "X-Sansan-Api-Key" (which is not taken from the configuration), and the URL is a hardcoded GET request to "https://api.sansan.com/v2.5/bizCards/search?tel=7707". The caller phone number is not sent to the server, and usually a create method should be POST and not GET, but this could be a wrong implementation of your REST server....

From the logs, I see that the 3CX engine is executing this scenario, and there is a valid response to this GET request:
2019/07/09 19:49:24.870|557|0020|Verb|Processing scenario 'CreateContactRecord'.
2019/07/09 19:49:24.871|557|0020|Verb|Creating new HttpClient for Basic authentication
2019/07/09 19:49:24.889|557|0020|Verb|Performing GET request 'https://api.sansan.com/v2.5/bizCards/search?tel=7707'.
2019/07/09 19:49:25.671|557|0020|Verb|The response is: '{"hasMore":false,"nextPageToken":null,"data":[{"id":"E5XXXXXXXXXXXXXXB4","companyId":"4CXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXF5","personId":"25XXXXXXXXXX74","exchangeDate":"2018-11-06","registeredTime":"2019-06-11T14:13:06+09:00","updatedTime":"2019-06-11T14:15:56+09:00","owner":......................

You should check what you're doing in this scenario, and if that's what you need to create the contact in your CRM...

I'm so sorry for reply late.
I misunderstood the scenario ID.
Based on your advice, I made modification and recreated the template.
Finally, it works as expected.

Thank you very much for your huge support!
