In the meantime I discovered the FAQ about the incoming voipfax. after exactly implementing this template, incoming voip works great.
The only thing i have to discover is that the time on the corresponding email is UTC and not local (+1) Any ideas?

next targer is the outgoing fax

3cx is great again.

Hi,
I have the same problem as you had..
How did you resolve the problem?

I just want to recive fax but i can't. I dont have a gateway or an analogfax.. I just use a provider..

Regards,
Irena

Hi,

The following FAQ should get you started!

http: //wiki.3cx.com/documentation/fax-1/receiving-faxes-from-voip-providers/ - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Regards,

hmm..
I have alredy set up those setings.. but i can't recive fax..

Can fax be recived by any VoIP provider or must the service "fax to mail" by the provider be turned on?

You SIP provider MUST support t.38 fax or you will not get faxing to work properly. Since most T.38 implementations today are poor hacks to try to get it to work, your success rate will probably either be pretty good or virtually zero.
