Hi all,

I'm having issues configuring our new SIP trunk to display a 3CX user's own DDI number when they make an external call, as opposed to all calls seemingly coming from our SIP trunk's master DDI number.
We have 500 DDIs on the one SIP trunk (with all call traffic in and out using that trunk), and pretty much all of those DDIs have been assigned to a specific 3CX user.

I tried to change the 'Outbound Caller ID' in a specific user's settings, but it still displays as a call from the master number for the trunk rather than their own DDI that I've entered.

Any tips much appreciated.

Thanks

As an update, I made a mistake on the 'Outbound Caller ID' section, in that I was putting entries in without the required '+44', once I did that it worked as expected.

But I don't fancy editing 500 users one by one to change that specific field, is there a quicker way in the Outbound Rules of the SIP trunk itself?

Thanks

Are you using a support SIP provider?

what is the From part in the SIP Trunk outbound settings?

If you are not using a 3CX Supported Provider you also need to check with your provider if they support this functionality.

This could be that you need to enable pass through via your SIP Trunk provider if they allow this
