Hidden Extensions showing in APP

I have Hide this extension from 3CX company phonebook and 3CX Apps Checked, yet the hidden extensions still still show on Android APP in Status?

On my iphone they dont show?

If you hide an extension and have the same extension in a group with other extensions, then you will be able to see that extension if youre in that group. You either need to remove ext from the group or uncheck "can see members"

Thanks mate, the hidden extensions are not in any groups, do I uncheck " Can see group members" on the actual hidden extension? Or uncheck it on the extensions which can see the Hidden Extensions?

Ahh extension groups? Is that what you mean?

So for the hidden extensions I can just create a new group and add them that and Android wont show those?

Is there anything which will be affected if pop them into a new group by themselves.

That's correct, you can just add the extensions you want to hide from presence into a separate group.

There are some features that are group dependant but it depends on your usage if you'll be affected or not. For instance you can have extensions see recordings of group members, see calls of group members, pickup calls from group members, etc, features such as these will of course be lost for the extensions involved.

I moved two hidden extensions to a new Group called after hours yesterday, they still appear in Status in Android App?

They dont appear in IOS or the Web Client. I am confused.

Do those two hidden extensions now only exist in the new group or does one of them perhaps exist in two or more groups?

If they are both only in the new group, try the following:

• Take the QR code or Welcome email of the extension provisioned on the android device and use it to provision an iOS device as well.

• You should end up with a 3CX Android App and a 3CX iOS App both configured with the same exact extension.

• Comparing the two, do you see differences in the presence section?

• If yes, please provide a screenshot from both devices with the differences being visible (do make sure to remove/blur any sensitive information such as names, etc)
