Solved Hide / close default group in soft client

Hi,

I have 3 groups created with 16 users. Unfortunately, in the 3cx soft client, it shows the 4 groups (with the default group). Is there a way to hide or close this groups to avoid showing... 32 users ?

Hello @smartek

You can either rename the default group and use that as one of your groups or you can remove all member from the default group. Removing all contacts from the default group will remove it from view in the 3CX client

Also, smartek, in addition to what Yannis said:

if you're not interested in groups, then in the Windows client open the switchboard, click the settings button and there uncheck "Show group headers". In this way, you'll see only your extensions.

Later edit: I forgot, in the same Settings page you can select also which group(s) you want to be shown, so you can deselect the Default one.

YiannisH_3CX suggestion works perfectly. For some reason, I didn't think one could remove a user from the default group .
