Hide forwarding rules inconsistent behaviour

Hello,
if I enable the "hide forwarding rule" for an extension, rules are properly hidden when logging via the web application.
But if I use the windows app, I can "bypass" the hide and go straight to forwarding configuration page.
Basically, forwarding rules are hidden only from web app and not for client app.
Am I missing something?

The Windows App is legacy and doesn't support this. Technically it should not be used anymore.

Hello, probably used the wrong name, but the app I'm referring to is the one from the store, not the legacy installed via MSI or the like
