This seems a very obvious problem. I have setup various extensions so that they need a pin to dial externally. The problem is when they type the pin it appears on the digital display - meaning anyone can see it. Surely for the like's of pin numbers or any security feature the information should be hidden? I'm hoping there is an option to input the pin securely. Can anyone help ?? Thanks.

It would require the set knowing that those particular digits are not to show on the display. Unlike logging into some data systems where characters are echoed back (or not) to a display, the set simply shows what is being pressed. It is going to be up to the person entering them, to be sure that the digits are not seen by others.

If someone has any other ideas....

Damn. I was hoping this would have been an easy one.......especially as the 30year old system I just replaced didn't show the pin. It was also a lot slicker in general for this - you just dialled the pin and then the number. None of this 777 and then listen to prompts. If I had known this in advance it would have been a show stopper but I guess now the hardware is in place I have other options to explore anyway. Very disappointing. Thanks for the feedback.
