Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light here. We are running 3CX server on Azure on a Debian server. I noticed that the memory usage within 3CX is stead at 80%. How can we keep this lower from causing problems?

Hi @rjamesm2884

Can you share some additional information such as:

  • What process appears to use the most memory (can be seen via SSH access)
  • The VM specs (cpu/ram/disk size)
  • The PBX size (how many deskphones, webclient users, mobile clients, desktop clients)

telnet into your server and run top, let us know what processes are running high.

Ran Top and Python3 and Management Co are running high

Are you running any call flow apps? or anything else on that server as pyton does not show at all on any of mine

Running this 3CX server on an Azure B1ms (1CPU, 2GB RAM, 30GB HDD) I know this is too low but it's only running a 4 simultaneous calls and two desk phones for a small office.
2 Webclient users, 2 Mobile clients.

Yes, two call flow apps are running.

If you go to Settings > Instance Manager and disable it do you see any difference?

Or is it not enabled?

The instance manager is not enabled on this server.

Ok, in this case try to stop the 3CX PhoneSystem 01 CallFlow Server from the management console, as a troubleshooting step. Verify if the usage drops after a moment or two. Let's see if the extra overhead is related to CFD in any way.

I stopped the service but it only dropped 10%
