Holiday Greeting Rules

Hi All.

Just a quick query, When configuring specific holidays with specific greetings for each i am assuming it uses whatever rule you have set up for out of hours.. IE it plays the greeting merry xmas... and then sends the call to VM if that is how you have OOH calls set up...

Perhaps there can be a setting to specify where calls are diverted for holidays if you do not wish to use OOH rules?

Under each SIP Trunk you can check the "Play holiday prompt when it's a global holiday". Then, your holiday specific prompt will play and then the call will be delivered to the HOL digital receptionist.
So record a holiday specific message like "You've reached us on Easter and our office is closed" and then record a message for your HOL DR offering options "to leave a message for X press 1."
