Holiday programming

Hi

I have a query which I have put some thought into and think I have the right answer but just want to ask the question/scenario and see if I am on the right track.

We are currently canvassing our clients around what they want to happen with their phones this holidays cycle.

I can:
- upload a recording again a stated holiday period I program or
- upload a recording against the HOL IVR

It says if it I leave the stated holiday period blank, it follows the HOL IVR which is fine because then the path follows the HOL IVR

What happens if I upload a recording against a stated holiday period, does it still follow the HOL IVR or just hang up once done?

If there is no Holiday prompt but the system is in Holiday then it will go directly to the HOL IVR and play the HOL IVR prompt.
If there is a Holiday Prompt it will first play this prompt and then route to the HOL IVR.

Thats pretty much what I thought so thank you for confirming. It was a topic in our office and a couple of people introduced some interesting variables to the convo
