Hotdesking with a Yealink T46G, which was working fine before, has stopped working. Could this be related to the current beta?

We are able to log in but the phone never resets to the logged in account - it (the phone) stays showing the unconfigured hotdesk info (HD0001 in this case) after logging in with *77*EXT*. If you try to log out from the phone you get an error but the Hotdesking page does show a user logged in. I have logged them out via the web page and attempted to log back in but still not working. Have also reset the phone. Any advice?

Hi @Callinectes,

What is the error that you receive?

What version of the PBX are you running?

we have the same problems

No error, the phone just never reconfigures. It does, however, show as logged in on the hotdesking page. We are on the most recent update to v18 (u1 v226).

Are you in STUN, local or SBC?

We had the same issues, you need to update the phone firmware manually to the latest version. Letsencrypt made changes and now the phones cannot communicate with 3CX. You will be unable to upgrade from the management console as the phone won't be able to access the firmware from the PBX.

This issue also effects reprovisioning phones and accessing the company phonebook.

Do you know what version you upgraded the firmware to that fixed your problem?
