Hello,
We are looking at the idea of putting all of our 3CX servers in the cloud (not sure if self-hosted or hosted is the way to go, yet). Currently we have five that we manage and they are on-prem using newer-gen i5 or i7 Intel Nucs with 16GB RAM that would each be turned into an SBC should we move said servers to the cloud.
The one thing stopping us is the required use of multiple 3CX-supported Grandstream GWX4224 ATA's in each location for analog telephone connections. At the largest location we have 173 extensions, 151 of those being regular analog phones connected to the ATA's, the rest are Yealink T54W phones and they like their BLF's . Each location has 16 SC licenses.
Would an on-site SBC or two (or three?) be the correct way of going about this if it is possible? I've yet to install more than one SBC in all cases so far as noting up until now required any more that that.
