Hello,

We created a 3CX hosted instance for a client a couple weeks back, before knowing we were going to need to enable Call Flows. I then integrated our account with Digital Ocean, to move the instance there just a couple of days ago. I thought the migration went ok, but noticed today that in the 3cx partner portal where most customer instances show the "Green" status icon, this particular customer's instance/license is gray and shows "Hosting currently Parked/Stopped" on mouseover. Here are the steps I took to migrate from 3cx hosted to Digital Ocean.

  • Completed the steps listed in 3cx documentation for integration with Digital Ocean.
  • From 3cx partner portal, clicked on the "Edit" pencil/icon next to the appropriate customer.
  • Under System --> Install Status: Hosted, clicked on the "Running" link, to access the options for the hosted instance. Selected Stop.
  • I now had an "Install" option at the top of the page. Selected this and went through the Wizard to create the self-hosted instance at Digital Ocean.

My new instance is online, and I can get into the customer/admin portal for that instance, and all seems well from that end. I don't actually have it all configured, so can't test that it's fully working. That part will come this week. But what do I need to do in the partner portal to get this client showing all "green"? It seems like it's still in a state where the existing 3CX hosted instance exists, but is just stopped. In the instance edit page, under System --> Install Status: Self-Managed, the status there says "Stopped". When I click it, I only have the option to Start the 3CX hosted, which says it would restore the latest backup.

Thanks in advance.

I believe when you stop it there is a notice that it will be parked for XX days before deleting. But if you just want it gone you are best served by opening a support ticket.
