Hosting in AWS Lightsail - upgrade instance

Im hosting in AWS lightsail but AWS not able to just upgrade the instance for higher resources. According to AWS, I can only do snapshot and use the snapshot to create a larger instance. after that create the same firewall rule and change the IP address to the new instance. I tried this method it seem work.

Can I say that the snapshot is include all the configuration in the previous instance, nothing much I should worry about?

You just said you tried this method and it seemed to work, so it seems you would know if it included all the configuration no? And if you are worried about it, you simply take a backup before.
