Hosting More than 1 3CX servers on the same LAN

Hello, community,

I am planning to host more than 1 3CX server on my network, is it possible?
I have a Sophos firewall acting as my gateway.

Please advise

Its on you which ports you want to use. Standard is 5001 and 5060... You could try 5005 and 5065 for the second one.

You should not have multiple instances assigned to the same Public IP. This will cause issues with being unable to port forward the required ports to each system individually and end up with problems, such as audio issues, as ports will not be properly forwarded.

You need to have a separate public IP assigned to each instance from which you can open and forward the required ports from the firewall.

Yes, this need to be changed as well. But as @Charles_3CX allready said, its not really a good idea to do this.

It would be easier to utilise multiple WAN IPs and VLANs then you wouldnt have to change any ports. Though, all your eggs in one basket comes to mind.

Hi there are use cases where this is desirable sir.I am currently migrating a pbx from a device to VM. I did a fresh install on a VM and i need to run both PBX on prem.

If you're migrating the same PBX behind the same WAN then you should backup, shutdown PBX A, set up PBX B with same IP as PBX B and restore.

I did it on a single server without changing ports. But I used 2 different internet lines and 2 routers.
