Hot Desking Extensions + Call Queue Extensions. Why doesn't logging out the only registered phone for that extension not log them out of a queue?

We are currently very new to 3cx with a pro licence so please be gentle. This is a linux self hosted install, using Yealink T42s handsets. The scenario is that our box office phones are configured for hot desking, and the users who staff the box office log in with their own individual extensions. I have setup their extensions to have away and available status change blf's which log the users extensions in and out off the queues for the start and end of very short breaks, and this all works fine. What I have noticed is that logging in and out of a hot desk phone themselves does NOT log the extensions in or out of the queues that they are members of when they have no other handsets registered. While the extensions that are not registered but logged in do not have calls allocated to them, they do show logged in on both the switch board, and when you report on things like abandoned calls. This is confusing and not ideal.

Am i doing something wrong, or is this just the behaviour of 3cx, and if so, are their any plans to make a change to log extensions out queues when they either log out of a hot desk phone, or when their are no phones registered to an extension?
