I am looking at a 3CX opportunity with a hotel. They currently have a Mitel Hotel Console at the front desk, It is a Mitel Superconsole 1000.

If I move the client to 3CX is there anything comparable that they can use at the front desk?

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello,

looking at the device, it looks just like a big phone with BLF keys. What is the main function the customer is using on it so we can advise what to use instead in 3CX.

https://www.3cx.com/pbx/hotel/

Currently, the device allows for the following:

-4 incoming lines with a hold
-Toggle the message light for an any of the analog phone extensions within the hotel.
-Setup multiple wakeup calls for any of the analog phone extensions within the hotel.

I would be using several GrandStream FXS Gateway units to communicate with the analog extensions.

You could but toggling of the message light does not exist anymore and FXS gateways not even been able to turn on the MWI. If you have a cat5 wire I recommend replacing them with a hotel ip phone such as: http://www.fanvil.hk/index.php/fanvil-h5-hotel-ip-phone/

setting wakeup calls can be done via a web page (3CX Web APP).
You can check guests in and out, set reminders for them (and the phones ring at the time to be woken up).
