Hello everyone
I hope you all are doing well.
3CX has finally introduced an AI Agent, which is a great step forward. While it covers many needs using AI and works well for handling voice interactions, it still doesn’t fully address some important use cases I have. For example, I would like the AI Agent not only to answer phone calls, but also to be able to:
- Create or update events in a calendar
- Populate a Google Sheet with caller details (phone number, name, intent, etc.)
The absence of this kind of workflow and automation capability feels like a limitation in the current AI Agent implementation in 3CX.
Does anyone know if there is a way to access audio stream of the call, so it can be forwarded to an external automation platform like n8n, instead of (or in addition to) Open-AI?
That would allow much more advanced automation beyond real-time call answering.
Any ideas, workarounds, or architectural suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
