How do I update to v16?

v16 Release is not showing up under my updates.
Does this mean Auto Update is not available from v 15.5 ?

Hi,

If 3CX is running on a Windows machine, then you have to reinstall 3CX.

I read that was only if you installed Alpha or Beta on the Windows machine.

With windows , with major updates you have to backup, uninstall and reinstall.

Just make sure the backup file is save to another location than the default 3cx folders.

You need to perform a re-install as V16 has a new service and a re-install is needed for the service to be added. This is not the case with Linux however where the service can be added with an update.
