Hi all, I seem to have a lot of issues getting 3CX working properly with old PA systems. Currently can't seem to get it to work with an old Bogen amplifier. The way it used to work is their old phone system (Samsung OfficeServ) had a line that ran to some 600ohm terminals on the back of the amplifier. When they hit page, the amplifier would automatically lower the volume of the music and start broadcasting the voice until the user hung up. I can't seem to find a way to replicate this using 3CX. If I connect the amplifier to one of the ports on an HT802 ATA for instance, the amplifier thinks the page is on all the time and won't play the music. When I try to connect the Fanvil PA2 to this amp using those terminals, the volume is way too quiet and I assume that's because the output on the Fanvil PA2 is not meant to connect to the 600ohm input on the Bogen.
Either way, if we need to get a new amplifier that works better with the Fanvil PA2, that will probably be fine but I'm not sure where to start. We just need a system where it broadcasts an FM radio station and then when someone calls the extension, it will mute the radio and broadcast the voice until the user hangs up. Curious how you all would do this.
