How to activate 3cx license ?

Hello, i have tried to activate a 3cx license for the company i work for, and im not able to. on windows terminal it keeps showing "Product cannot be activated because the license key is of a previous version. Upgrade license key or purchase maintenance from https://customer.3cx.com/orderform/default.aspx". And on web it keeps going back to
"Do you have a 3CX backup you would like to restore?". I have a NFR license key, can someone help me go through this ? I'm new and i just started the learning.

My guess, based on your error message, is that your license key is for a previous version of 3CX. Normally, 3CX would automatically upgrade the key to the current version of 3CX. Given that this is an NFR key, I would call your 3CX rep and ask him to check your key.
