Hello,
I was planning to switch our hosting from 3CX to AWS lightsail this weekend. Sadly I had the idea to start creating the VM on lightsail now taking the PBX Express. That changed the IP for our FQDN but I've actually wanted to do it this weekend.

Also, I'm aware that I cannot have two instances running with our license, how can I switch off the old instance hosted by 3CX?

The section here is empty: https://customer.3cx.com/prm/myinstances.aspx

Thank you

Hello leejor, I've of course looked for that solution before posting here but in my installation hosted by 3CX that section is not present in the settings. I've managed to do that from the new installation on AWS Lightsail, luckily everything went smoothly

Hi Davide,

Just FYI, the system will update its own DNS entry for 3CX FQDNs by setting the Network mode to Dynamic via the management console as per the linked thread by @leejor

Now that we have deleted your free instance, it will stop claiming the DNS entry and your current machine should update the entry shortly. Note it may take up to 6 hours for the changes to propagate.
