We have a backup 3cx server that we use for failover. If our main server goes offline, the backup properly fails over. If our main server comes back online, the backup server is still set to the Active and I have to manually set it to Passive. Sometimes, the public IP on our license still keeps the IP of our backup server even after it is set to Passive. My workaround is to set the main server to Passive and backup server to active, wait for failover, and set the backup server back to Passive and the main server back to Active. This usually changes the IP quickly but still causes downtime.
Is there a way to manually set the Public IP on our license or automatically failback?

The way you are doing it is the only way I could find that works, what we do is wait until off peak times to fail it back.

Thanks for your response Christopher. Glad I'm not the only one using this method but still seems like a downside to this system.

Do you know if there's a way to script the failover like changing the status from Active to Passive?

No, I am not aware of any at least for Debian, I know Windows has one, but I can't remember where to find it.
