Greetings, hoping someone can help.

Our SIP trunk provider is Bandwidth.com (one of the templates in 3CX) and several times while working on a support incident with them, we've been asked to provide the SIP INVITE string for a call. I've dug deeply into the call logs, activity logs, and even pulled down system logs to open in the 3CX Log Viewer. I have yet to find a resource that will show me a call's INVITE.

I can see in the template for BWC the parameters that feed the INVITE, but still can't find the actual string.

How can this be done in 3CX?

Thanks,
B.

It will be in the Activity Log, you will have to set the logging level to Verbose to see the details. There will be an Invite to 3CX from an extension, then from 3CX to your provider, for one call.

The activity log and the Bin log viewer should give you more that enough information including Invite messages. You need to be in verbose logging level though and that means that there will be a lot of information there and its easy to miss something. So I would recommend to also use the filter functionality to reduce the amount of logs you need to go through.

If you still cannot find an Invite then you can also run packet captures directly from the Activity log and send them those files.
