How to get SMS/MMS working with messagebird, signalwire

[ndakena]

Hello Team,
3cx recently added a feature to the generic SIP trunk or generic VoIP provider, which should allow adding the sms feature. I have been struggling to get sms working with message bird or signalwire.

Has someone been able to get any of these working?

Hello @ndakena

Here is what 3CX expects to receive and send when using the Generic template: https://www.3cx.com/docs/supported-sip-trunk-requirements/#h.z7xet9uflkmo
Any unsupported provider/application that wants to work with the Generic template needs to adjust their implementation to match the one explained in the doc.
