I've got bridges with all my PBX and we're publishing an extension off our system so customers can easily call us.

It was set up to "ring my mobile.." pointing to an IVR but now this isnt possible.

(i know this was removed but ive only just noticed).

How could I handle this now?

There is a bridge from the customer’s 3CX to your 3CX, and at the customer’s side there is an extension with call forwarding (ring my mobile, and in the Mobile Number field, for example, it says 99999<your-3CX-IVR-number>). If there is an outbound rule that removes the 99999 and uses the bridge as the route, then the call should reach your IVR.
Alternatively, you can enter something like 9999 under Mobile Number (4 digits minimum), remove the first 4 digits in the rule, and use your IVR’s number as the destination number.

It was set up to "ring my mobile.." pointing to an IVR but now this isnt possible.
Did I miss something about why this should no longer be possible, or is this referring to the artificial, arbitrary restriction of requiring at least 4 digits in the Mobile Number field?

I had already mentioned it once. The reactions from 3CX were rather discouraging.

it'll be the digit limit, all my set ups are 3 digits

Then use 4 digits and remove the unnecessary ones in the outbound rule of the bridge. ;)

yeah i've just done that.

And whilst it works, it means I now have to change this on all my PBX installs
