Dear All,
Customer wants to know the users registered in 3CX and exported them. Normally, we understood about the user creation and importation by batch (csv) file. For that, some users when online we could understand that they are registered but some we do not know as they offline or we do not even they use to register successfully or not,.

Could you please help advise who to know/identify whether users has been registered and then we could export them and check as part of our report for the customer needed.

Thank you

Regards,
Ney

To first confirm I understood this correctly, are you saying you have a number of extensions configured in 3CX and you need to know which ones registered at least once so that you can export only those to a .csv?

If yes, there's no way to check registration history unless you have the 3CX logs in verbose mode from the very beginning. That said, I can only suggest that you run an "Extension Statistics Report" and check which extensions have any sort of calling activity, those would probably be the ones you need to keep.

Note: As a precautionary measure I'd recommend exporting all extensions and keeping a backup of that csv file just in case. If thereafter you get any complaints from users you could import those specific extensions only.

Thanks so much, Chris for this inputs and explanation. And yes, you are understanding is correct. That is what customer is looking right now. This is needed from their management and esc. to audit the transaction with international calls and to know how many imported users has been registered and provisioned successfully and latest status whether they still use, online or inactive/away.

I also exported from "Extension Statistics Report" but it seems to be only for inbound and outbound call but yes, also helpful for some figure and reference.

So, if we want to know in detail for an user extensions when they logged in, created or provisioned and complete status is to check in Activity log?

I could see many Activity logs name, could you please advise for log name to be checked.
And any reference like database dictionary where showing and telling about the log name and its description?

Thanks again.

I would not recommend using the 3CX Logs to determine this as you would first need them to be in Verbose mode and would also probably need very old logs which will not be available if you have not been saving them.

Which log to check and exactly what to look for would depend on what action you are trying to pinpoint. Nevertheless, as mentioned above, I would not recommend using the logs to achieve this, instead, utilize the built in 3CX Reporting system to acquire this information. Depending on the activity you're looking for you should generate the corresponding report. If for instance you're looking for Queue login/out status, there is a report for that too. If you're looking for chat messages, you could take a look at the chat log.

Note: There is no report or specific log for extension registration, provisioning or 3CX Client login. You can probably determine if any of the above happened by reviewing a combination of logs in Verbose mode but this would only make sense going into for a specific instance. Performing such a task for all extensions and their entire history would be hugely cumbersome if not outright impossible.

Thank you for the explanation, Chris. I do think that is all from my side for this subject line.
