How to make 3CX worked with Analog IP Phones

Dear All,

My clients is looking for feasible solution of having 3CX worked with their Analog IP Phones. So, what is the media gateway service or converter device to connect b/w 3CX to their office IP Phones approx. 300 IP Phones. Currently, they are having Existing Cable (CAT-3), Analog Cable.

I would recommend to look at this series of analog gateways

But make sure that the customer's current phones can work with those gateways. I think the gateways work with PSTN phones just fine, but if they used to have a custom analog PBX, their handsets might not be compatible with the grandstream gateways.

Thanks John for your prompt reply.

So for end point (IP Phones), we need to double check whether it supported with 3CX still even we have Analog Gateways (Ex: Grandstream Gateway), I told the client even we will have this gateway we will need to know the IP Phones as 3CX only recommended for some models and brands, mostly they have Analog Phone like Panasonic etc..

Yes, and depending on what you find you might have to give a different solution:

1. If the existing phones are PSTN / POTS compatible they should work with Grandstream. This would probably be the cheapest solution. You can test them by plugging them into a normal wall phone line and see if they can make and receive calls

2. If they are not, you will need to get supported IP phones, install ethernet cabling to connect them, and possibly get multi-port PoE switches to power them via ethernet.
