I understand this is only possible via Webclient. Hence, I have logged in via webclient gone to "admin" then "voice & chat" then clicked on add SBC
gives me 3 options Windows Machine, Debian Linux Machine, Raspberry Pi. I don't think any of these options going to setup the T54W as SBC.

The firmware of the phone is 96.86.100.5
3cx hosted version 18 update 6 build 908

Is there a link or guide on how to do this?

You need to add a phone not an sbc. Than you will have the option to set it as router phone.

so I add the phone to the user then go to the phone admin page and configure it as a router phone.
but what configuration do I need to change in the phone admin page to make it to a router phone.

Nothing. You factory reset the phone and it will autoconfigure everything (provided it's on the correct firmware version - upgrade the firmware first if needed).

Hi @sergen

Our guide has you fully covered - including the correct firmware that you have to manually install on the phone.
https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t5-series/

So in short:

1. Delete the phone from 3CX first (if it was already assigned to an extension)

2. Install the correct firmware from the guide - it wont work without this

3. Factory Reset the phone - this is very important, do not skip this step

4. Add the phone to 3CX using the new Web Client Admin page. It cannot be done from the classic management console

5. Select the router phone option (not normal phone) and add the model and mac. You will be given a user and pass

6. Now reboot the phone again, and it will ask for the user and pass

If you enter them correctly, it should autoprovision, reboot, and come online.
If anything goes wrong, just factory reset 1 more time, and it will ask for the user pass now.

thank you for swift explanation. worked like a charm.
