Hi,

I have a Yealink W53p set here which, according to Yealink Support, is ok to use on 3CX.
Unfortunately I cannot select a template for this model in my v16 PBX.

Which existing template is best to use for the W53p? The W52p, W56p or W60b?

DECT base has to be known from 3CX , so W60B is the right choice, add it in FXS/DECT zone in MC, then follow same process to link the W53p to w60b as w52p. Yealink is surely not reinventing the wheel each phone they add.

Thank you for the reply.
Another question someone might be able to answer:

I have 2 handsets and 2 base stations.
Can I add both handset extensions on both basestations in 3CX (in case a handset is out of reach of one of the basestations)?

No you can only register one handset to one base unit,

If need to to extend the distance you purchase Yealink DECT repeaters for your base model.
