Hello,
I installed 3CX on a Windows machine at my house as a trial. It's been running fine for 47 days, but haven't used it much. My company hasn't decided what they want to do about phones. I want to shut this computer off, but I may want to turn it back on later to continue test or check on specific features. Can I just shut down the Windows computer? Seems like there should be a way to tell 3CX that I'm turning it off.

Thanks,
Kyle

I have simply powered down the computer, either using the power switch, power icon (screen option), or in some cases , simply cut the power, which is not really elegant or recommended. 3CX does not need to be shut down first, at least, I have never found that to be required.

Hello @kylejwx

The best practise is to always have a backup of the configuration saved somewhere in case anything goes wrong, however you can simply shut the machine down normally. The OS will stop the 3CX services gracefully and shut down the system. No need to shut down 3CX before shutting down the machine.
