How to Send SMS to 3cx Phone number/Email forwarding

Is it possible to use a 3CX voip phone number only for SMS?

If so, can we forward SMS to emails?

What do you mean exactly by 3CX voip phone number? To use the 3CX SMS feature you must configure with an SMS Provider, please check the guide here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sms-text/

Regarding SMS to emails, I'm afraid it is not possible. SMS can either be directed to an Extension or a Call Queue and will be received in the form of a 3CX Chat.

If you look at the supported providers, specifically telnyx, they have the feature to be able to SMS to email as we currently use it seperate from 3CX.

Other providers may be able to do it too but ive only this one.
