How to setup multiple line so I can pick up the 2nd line when it ring?

Hi,

We setup a ringgroup to ring to all phone. when a call come in it ring. I picked up the call ok and a second line come in. I do not see it ringing to my phone eventhough i'm in the ringgroup. My question is how do i make it ring even though I'm on the line so I can pick it up.

When it do ring, I can put the first line on hold, and press the other line to pick up the call. How do i accomplish this? do i need to setup BLF? or do I need to setup on hold call (there is a term for it). Like when I put the call on hold put them to a group and I can setup BLF on all the phone?

Please advise on how to accomplish this task.

just enable multiple call. and reprovision.

testing a incoming call. picked it up .. and pretend talking.. 2n call inbound call. the ring is not ringing, why is that? but the other phone in the hunt group is ringing.

Am i missing something here? Why is it when i'm on a call, the 2nd call into the ringgroup it doesn't ring on my phone?

Any solution to this?

It appears that second calls from queues or ring groups is possible without parking the current call.

set a blf with *20* when you hear ringing a second call next to you press that blf to intercept call

If you are using a deskphone, you can also provision it with 2 line keys to make your life a bit easier.
You must also "Accept Multiple Calls" for this to work, as mentioned above.

Do Ring Group calls, to an engaged set, with multiple line keys, no longer require the use, of the previously required (though discouraged) ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP ?

thank you all. all worked. but i think the best thing to do is just setup shared park extension 1 and park extension 2. so the user can just part the call and other can see it and just pick it up that way..

What is the goal put second call on MOH ? set a Q with agents to answer, answer in shortest time to increase customer satisfaction, one call at a time, and let 3CX Q do the welcome for you.
Nothing to manage on phones, no stress when you are in call you are listening caller nothing else.
