How to setup Test Environment

Hi everyone,
I have a V18 on prem 3cx server which we are looking to upgrade to v20 soon.
I am struggling to get the test environment setup so that I can test the upgrade and connectivity.
We do use Veeam and I can create an isolated SureBackup job which is great, but it doesn`t let me resolved the DNS required for the upgrade/install process. Wish I could resolve that.....
If anyone has used Veeam Surebackup to do this 3CX test environment, or any other methods of isolating the environment, could you please give me a hint as to how to setup it up.
I would really appreciate it.

Take a backup without your license, restore to another system and set up a new trial key fqdn.
