How to upgrade a 3cx instance running on Amazon Lightsail

Watch the video below for additional details and then create the firewall rules in the Amazon Lightsail instance to complete the upgrade.

1. In Amazon Lightsail, go to the instance and create a snapshot (takes 15-20 minutes)
2. Create a new instance using the new snapshot making sure to select an upgraded plan with more memory, CPU and/or disk space.
3. Detach the public static IP from the old instance and shutdown the old instance.
4. Attached the old public static IP to the new instance
5. Reboot the new instance
6.Disable IPv6 and set the same firewall rules on the new instance (from the old instance) under Networking.
7. Log into your 3cs instance and bind the new internal IP (will resolve IP error on 3cx instance dashboard).
https://your3cxinstance.3cx.us/#/app/settings/network/2/public_ip

The IP Address of the host does not match any of the configured ip addresses in 3CX Network settings.
The Current host IP Address is 172.26.12.37.
3CX Network interface IP Address is configured for 172.26.11.77. This has to be updated.
Pressing OK will redirect you to the 3CX network settings page where you can select the correct IP Address from the Network card interface dropdown.
