Hello
I want to use my HT488 for this simple scheme: receive incoming calls from the PSTN network, and make outgoing calls via my SIP account.
The latter works OK, but when I receive a call via PSTN and answer it, the HT488 hangs up (mostly in less than a minute)!
Simple scheme, simple setup; the HT488 is connected as follows:
- the POWER adapter is plugged in,
- the WAN port connects to my router,
- the FXS port (Phone) connects to my analog phone,
- the FXO port (Line) connects to my PSTN wall socket,
- the phone line operator is Belgacom (Belgium's main operator).
I downloaded and installed the latest firmware, left most factory defaults untouched and only minimally changed the configuration:
- via IVF, enabled web access (*** 12 9),
- basic settings: changed "time zone" (GMT+1:00) and "route calls to pstn" (added emergency numbers),
- advanced settings: changed "admin password", "syslog server" and "syslog level",
- fxs port: changed first six lines (SIP account details), "fxs impedance" (CTR21 ...), "caller id scheme" (ETSI-FSK ...) and "onhook voltage" (48V),
- fxo port: changed "pstn ac termination" (270 Ohm + ...) and "enable current disconnect" (no - just to be sure).
After reboot, the status page reads:
The only time I found a 10 second time span mentioned is when explaining the PIN code input, but there is no special tone and even no PIN code configured, and I am at a loss...
Can somebody help me out with solving this problem, please? Hopefully I have provided enough context information and details; if not, just ask.
