HT802 Firmware

We have a few customers who are using an HT802 for faxing and one of them started having issues. I went to upgrade the firmware manually from the web UI but Grandstream no longer allows it to be updated this way.


Is there way to push the firmware from 3CX like the IP phones? I can change the firmware server path but worry next time it checks for config from 3CX it will get overwritten.

Look at the provisioning path in the HT802, create this path in the 3CX (if it doesn't already exist) and import the firmware file there. Pay attention to the authorizations (group and user phonesystem).

Sorry for the delay and thanks! I will do this with the others. Carrier ended up telling me fax over their trunks isn't supported so we changed the ATA from being a 3CX fax extension to carriers solution.
