HTTP Based API for make call

Hi
We have a web application and we are trying to integrate 3CXPhone app for that. We just need to make a call by clicking on an icon. My question is does 3CX has a http based API for that ?

You may use the TEL protocol where any web link starting with "tel:" is sent to dial through 3cxphone.
