Hunt ring time

Hi,

When confguring a ring group with the Hunt ring strategy, what is the significance of the Ring Time setting?

For example, if the Ring Time is set to 20 seconds - does a single extension ring for 20 seconds before the next in the group starts to ring? So if you have 10 extensions in a ring/hunt group there could be 200 seconds of ringing before the call is routed elsewhere?

What is a reasonable setting for ring time?

Related - is the list of extensions in the hunt group prioritized by the order listed in the Members dialogue?

If you have quite a number of sets in the ring group then it is probably best (for the callers patience) to have all of the sets ring at the same time, say 20 seconds, then you can determine where to send the call, voicemail, a different extension, etc.
