I cant send the welcome email

When I load the new softphone it asks me to drag a email or click the attachment. I finally found out how to resend the welcome email. It then has a error saying it cant connect to the server. I saw on a post that windows 7 doesn't have a smtp so I downloaded a free one. I then change the settings and resend the email and this time it says invalid reviver email. Thanks for any help.

On the extension information is the email setting valid?
