I have installed an i63 Fanvil door phone.

I have programmed the 5 buttons to call 5 different hunt groups.

In all instances, the first person in the Ring Group is called, and if they don't answer the call just stays there and rings, the call never attempts to transfer to the 2, 3, 4 person in the Ring Group.

If the 1st person in the Ring Group is DND or on a call, it will start to ring the 2nd person in the ring group, but again, never moves on from there. The call stays and continues to ring that extension.

If I call the Ring Group from a normal desk extension, the hunt group works as you would expect it to work. It's only not working correctly when the i63 door phone rings the ring group.

Do you have "early media" enabled? (To provide pre-pickup video)

If so, the call will effectively be answered by the first phone, in order to receive the early media...

I do have early media enabled, so the receiver can see the video before they ever answer the call.

That makes sense, I’ll turn that off and see if that solves my issue. I appreciate the response. I have another issue, related to this same topic. I’ll ask the question next.

I have a ring group set, if a person is actively on a call, and someone pushes the door phone button, the extension who is on a call receives no notification that a call is attempting to come through, much like “call waiting” if they are actively on a call.

Under normal phone calls, call waiting works, the end user can see that another call is attempting to come in to their extension and it flashes the name on their screen and they can decide if they want to take the call or ignore it.

I have allow multiple calls set, I have accept calls from ring groups turned on.

Again, this issue only seems to be an present when the fanfil i63 is the phone calling the ring group.

This looks like my exact scenario.
Any suggestions to this?

Ring groups will always skip over any phone that has an active call (doesn't matter if multiple calls are allowed - that setting only affects direct calls, not groups).

It's not specific to calls from a doorphone - you'll see the same behavior if you call the ring group from a normal extension while one or more of phones are in use.

The only way around that that I've seen ends up outside of supported configurations. (Manually adding a second extension appearance to the phone configs, and having that second extension in a dedicated ring group just for the doorphone. Not recommended unless you are very familiar with the manual config process, and willing to lose auto-provisioning updates on config/BLF changes...)

One other option, also unsupported and has been known to cause issues is the ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP parameter.
